As today is Mason’s birthday, I spent the day at his school being the “Watchdog Dad” and it was such a good time to watch Mason interact with everyone and marvel at how quickly he has grown and matured over the past few years.  I am very proud of the person that Mason has become and then as a reminder that he is still very young we were sitting in the office and he was watching a minecraft video on youtube when I heard the f word dropped.  I told him to turn it off immediately and said that it was one of the worst “bad” words that could be said.  His reply verbatim was “So fucking is worse than the s word?”  It was hard not to chuckle when I answered in the affirmative trying to ignore that he just used the word and furthermore knowing that he considers the s word to be stupid.
