It’s very disheartening watching the NHL lose all of the momentum they had gained over the past couple of years over money.  It took me over seven years to get back into the NHL after the last strike and now they are at it again.  Fortunately, thanks to Mason, I realized I don’t need the NHL when I can go to the rink every Sunday and watch Mason in action.  He has played three games so far, for the Oilers, and has played goalie twice.  For never playing goalie before he has done pretty well.  Fortunately we had money saved up for college so we can afford to get him the pads and lessons as he seems to want to keep playing goalie.  Below are a lot of photos from his first two games…he is number 7.
