Cutler continues to amaze us…

Here is a  video of Cutler taken this afternoon, playing with a new toy (from Aunt Becky, I believe).  He seems to be feeling pretty good today, aside from vomiting a couple of times.  His platelets still haven’t begun to increase just yet, but that will happen soon!  We’ve begun trying to feed him a bottle every day but he has yet to eat.  Again, the increase in white blood cells will “trigger” the desire to eat, so we know that will come in time.  As we’ve mentioned throughout this ordeal, patience is key.  So in addition to praying for Cutler’s full recovery, we could certainly use extra prayers for patience.  God is Great and we continue to pray He lays His healing hands on Cutler and restore him to full health.

Aaron and I have both mentioned the new IV pumps.  I’m attaching a picture so you can see just how large, confusing and intimidating they can be.  I stress large because this room is not big to begin with, and with this behemoth to push around, you can only imagine the daily frustration, especially when they beep non stop!!

And here’s one more of Cutler today.

Bad angle, he doesn’t really have that many chins!

  2. Thanks for continuing to post the pic’s and videos for us!

I too will ask God for the continued strength and patience needed to see you through this tough journey. The blessing in all of this is that things appear to be moving, although slowly, in the right direction for Cutler.

God bless you and your family!

  3. Cutler is such a babydoll!!! We enjoy the pictures so much. Thanks for posting them along with all of the latest updates on Cutler’s battle.
We pray daily for Cutler’s victory over this villain called cancer. We also pray daily that God gives Team Fricke the strength and patience needed to support Cutler in his journey. What a challenge it must be!

  4. Melanie and Aaron,

We know you are going through the greatest trial of your life. It will take an act of spiritual discipline to thank God for all He has done…but do it. It will lift the burden and bring the presence and power of God into your life to sustain you.

Wondering what pearl of wisdom I can send to you today. Hmmmm…..

Compile yourself with healing scriptures. It will bring you great personal comfort like a daily reminder of God’s faithful promise to you. It will be as taking doses of supernatural medicine. Surround yourself with good things, good thoughts and good people and day by day disipline yourself to ignore the voice of the adversary.

We know you are constantly in the trenches but remember you are never alone; the Lord and our prayers surround you.

    Until tomorrow,
