Upside Down Eve

Tonight is the eve before our life gets turned upside down one more time.  Although we have been through a lot and have a good idea of what to expect, the anticipation of what we are about to embark on is weighing very heavily on me.  Just the idea of taking such a healthy and happy baby boy as we have right now and bringing him back down to level zero all over again is causing great angst.  However, realizing this is the final step in our soon to be victory over leukemia, I know it is the right decision.  I am finding a tremendous amount of comfort in prayer and knowing that everyone else is out there praying for us as well.  We check back into the hospital tomorrow at 1pm and then chemo will start on Tuesday morning.  I will start updating the blog on a more frequent basis now that we are returning from “vacation”.

As a side note, I have changed the layout again and found a way to allow you to subscriber so that you get an email whenever I post a new update.  Look on the right hand side.  It should be fairly simple to do.

Thank you again for all of the prayers that are helping comfort us during our up and down times.  It really is amazing to know how many people out there are thinking about and praying for Cutler on a daily basis.

  1. Cutler has proven his strength over and over.He will prevail, and we will continue to pray for his cure. The least that we can do is pray and stay positive. God is listening and hearing every word. He will help to bring you all strength to finish this journey. We are all here for your family in many different ways. Don’t forget to use us to lean on when you are feeling down. We love and miss you all!

  4. Angie said it better than I could have said it. Cutler and Team Fricke are in our thoughts and prayers as Cutler enters this next phase of his treatment. I know he knows we are there in spirit with him, but please know we are there with all of Team Fricke in spirit through this journey.
    Go Cutler!

  5. Your whole family has been such an amazing example of true love, faith, grace, and strength since day one, you humble me. You all will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. And you are right, though it must be incredibly hard as you say, you are doing what is right and best, never doubt you are both amazing parents, which is why you have such amazing kids. 🙂

  6. My Dear Aaron,

Through your words, I can hear the deep concern, prospct and anticipation of upcoming events for Cutler.

Aaron, Please rest assured that your needs will be remembered in prayer. Please know that I am ALWAYS here to pray for you, your family and your needs. Prayer is all I have to give you, but I promise you it is all you will ever need! “I come to give you life, that you might have life more abundantly!” John 10:10

Father God, I ask You to bless Aaron’s family, children, friends and relatives. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to Aaron’s spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give him Your peace and mercy. Where there is self doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace. Where there is need, I ask you to fulfill the need. Bless Aaron’s home, family, finances, their goings and their comings.

    In Jesus’ precious name.
