Brother’s Day 2011

Wow, it’s been a full month since my last post.  With the temperature finally dropping into the 90’s I have found less and less time to sit down and put words to paper.  I’ll also blame it on my incredible wife’s ability to find something for the family to do every weekend in an effort to keep me from watching football.  🙂

In an effort to start my creativity going again I thought I would put up some pictures of the boys from our Brother’s Day adventure from this year.  If you recall, September 11th is the day that Cutler was diagnosed with leukemia.  It still brings up many emotions when I think back to that rainy day, but it has now turned into a day of celebration thanks to Mason.  Last year after enduring Mother’s and Father’s Day, Mason asked when was Brother’s Day and so we decided there was no better day than September 11th to help turn the memories of that day in a more positive manner.  This year was a lot more low key than last year, trip to Disney, due to Mason starting “real” school and so we just spent the day eating lunch at a butterfly festival and just hanging out…emphasis on hanging as it was the morning after my lovely wife threw a surprise birthday party for me.  Surprise is an understatement as my birthday is still a few weeks away, but that’s another story and those photos will not be made public.  🙂

Anyway, below are a few photos from our day out.

I can now say I have not gone a month without a post in two years.  🙂  Now I just need to finish Alaska before we go another trip.
