It’s a bit late for Easter, but on the way to bed tonight Cutler saw a rabbit out the window and showed me how they hop. Thought it was cute enough to share the video.

Back In The Heat
So as I posted before Melanie successfully finished the marathon and the real vacation began. We got home this past Saturday and we have been running nonstop trying to play catch up ever since. I am trying to work through the hundred, if not thousands of pictures we got, from our many adventures, to find the best ones to share but I find myself day dreaming trying to figure out which was best: landing on the glacier in the shadow of Mt. McKinley, Walking within feet of bears, Being surrounded by breaching whales, Watching a coastal glacier calve, and the list could go on. As I work through the photos I will try to post some of our better photos with some small descriptions of the mini excursions including watching our friend Andrea almost get pulled into the sea as she reeled in her monster halibut. 🙂 Until then just a few of my favorites…
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner
Alive and well. Words can’t express how proud of Melanie I am. She is an inspiration to me and our boys. Also a big thanks to Andrea for joining in the fun and congrats on finishing as well.

She just pushed past mile 25 and is pushing hard for the finish!

Proud to report I just put in a mile with my beautiful wife and I am still standing. Guess my achilles isn’t torn after all. Go Melanie go!
17 And Barely Legal
Just heard from Melanie that she is chugging along and just passed mile 17. Three short of her longest run.
The Moose Is Lose
Half way mark and she is going strong despite the crazy hills. The encouraging moose help along the way.
Mile 9 Looking Fine
Just spent a few minute with Melanie and she is looking very strong and in great spirits!
Mile 7
Going strong enough for her to enjoy the scenery and send me pictures. She is two miles from the first viewing spot.
3 miles
Just heard from Melanie that she is 3 miles in and feeling good. Meanwhile the leader just ran past us at the 9 mile point and not another soul in site. Those Kenyans are pretty damn impressive.
