Missing Mason
The title of the post is how the doctor refers to Cutler. Apparently he is reacting well if he keeps eating at this pace and continues to amaze the doctors. While he does still vomit at least twice a day, he does still show the desire to eat which is a very good thing. It does seem like it is only happening with his first two or three bottles of the day and we are trying to get him anti nausea medicine prior to giving him a bottle. Helps keep the laundry bill low. Regardless of the nausea, he is still drinking a lot of milk and is continuing to enjoy the vegetables which is a very good thing. Right now he is maintaining his weight, around 16 lbs, but as the chemo is almost over I suspect his current appetite will start to pack more weight on as soon as he keeps it all in on a consistent basis. And sorry Aunt Linda, but I have a feeling he will continue down the trail of the carnivores in the family. After all, you don’t keep a body like this by not eating meat. 🙂
What an amazing human being! Give him a great big hug from another grandmother, Tutu (that means grandmother in Hawaiian). He is adorable, and by the way, Mason, you are rather amazing too! Talk your mom and dad into bringing the two of you up to Coeur d’Alene Lake with Grandpa Ed and Grandma Barbara next time they come. We love little people! Tutu and Larry

Oh well, you are probably right about Cutler being a carnivore. However, I am so glad to hear he is enjoying his vegetables and that he is such a good eater. He obviously takes after his great aunt Linda in those respects. Now, if Cutler decides later that he likes cake and ice cream and pie best of all, I know he takes after his great aunt Linda!
Love,
Aunt Linda & John
p.s. How about Mason? How does he feel about vegetables?

The boys keep getting cuter and cuter. Cutler looks more and more like Mason in these pictures. So glad to see and hear that Cutler is such a happy baby and such a good little trooper. Give the boys extra hugs and kisses for me. Sending my love and some sunshine from San Diego!

Love the picture w/mom and dad. Will continue to pray for protection over his little body. Strength for mom and dad, to continue to care for the boys, doing a great job (as you can tell by their happy faces). Praying for the next steps and that you can be home soon,
