Get up already daddy...
The only thing better than waking up to this, would be waking up to this at home with Mason and Melanie by my side. Last night was another great night for Cutler. No oxygen required at any time, not even during or after the chemo treatments. I was even able to sleep surprisingly well, minus the random play time when Cutler woke up and wanted to play around 4 am. If it weren’t for the medicine and monitoring, I believe he would be back to happily sleeping through the night.
The only negatives that we are experiencing right now are bouts of vomiting as part of his first feeding immediately after a chemo treatment. But not to worry, once he if finished he is back to a big smile and fortunately he doesn’t eat real food yet so it is an easy clean up…and if it wasn’t the easy button (nurse call button) is very close by.
Good Morning from Houston,
Love the updates. Cutler is adorable, wish I was there to help. But I can see you have the greatest Grandmas and Aunt (Larry, Moe and Curly). Well Larry is my cousin and I think she is the greatest!
Just wanted to let you know we have been thinking and praying for Cutler and all the family.
Heavenly Father, I thank you for Your goodness in Cutler’s life. Thank you for filling Cutler with Your strength and joy and I praise and worship You today. Thank You for equipping Melanie and Aaron to overcome every challenge and obstacle they will face today.

Thank you so much for taking the time and energy to update the blog. It has been so nice to keep with Cutler and it warms my heart to see that smile and hear that he had another good night. And Mason is adorable. Love the shaving cream face. 🙂 Those boys are so blessed to have such an amazing family.
Take care.

First of all, thank you for including us in this most important time in your lives. Cathy and I think of you often and of course are guilty of not keeping in touch as well as we should. So again, thank you. We are so praying for Cutler and for Cutler’s family. I have also added you to the prayer list at St. Rose Hospital were I work in the ED. It is times like this that brings out our strengths and we are able to do and withstand things that we would have thought impossible. Your family is amazing! Cutler is obviously well loved and happy. Mason will be the big brother and help in many ways. From your Cousins, we send our love.

What an amazing family “Team Fricke” is! I want to let you know that there are several prayer chains going on in North Carolina AND Louisiana. The numbers continue to mount as Cutler continues his fight. All of you there…stay strong and lean on God when the weight gets a little too heavy. Will check on his progress daily and please let Betty know if we can do ANYTHING for you.
Love and prayers,
Jimmy, Pam, Tara and Cole Poole

Hi, we are friends of Connie and Mike. Our hearts and prayers go to God for you on the wings of angels. We are so blessed that our angel, Nicole, is 4 1/2 years in remission from Hodgkins lymphoma, and is a senior in college. My heart aches at the thought of what you are going through and I rejoice at all of the battles you are winning, no matter how small they may seem to others. When we began our journey, a friend told us to pray as though we had already received, as we are told to do in the Bible. We did every day, all day long. It kept us focused on God’s mercy and got us though each day. Keep the faith!

My heart goes out to all of you, and please know you have been in my thoughts and prayers since I got the call from your mom Aaron. I’ve called all my friends and family and asked them to include Cutler in their prayers, and to put him on all their prayer lists. I’m very glad both your Mom’s and Aunt Pat are able to be with you. I know they are a tremendous support. Thanks for keeping us updated, and I love getting to see that sweet little face. If there is anything my family or I can do, please let up know. Love to you all, Grandma Pam
